Pure Pork
Preceding the Max Mouse days, Pure Pork was headed up by Cris
Cuddy in the mid-'70's. Pure Pork played a range of country and
rock from Bill Monroe to Van Morrison. Its members included Alan
Chong on Bass, Joe Freedman on Guitar, Alan Kates on Pedal Steel,
Jim Leslie on Drums, and Dan West on Banjo. The band played
throughout central Ontario and had its base in the
Campellford-Tweed area of the province.

In the early '70s Cris Cuddy helped found Bacon Fat, a pioneer country rock fusion band which originated as an 8 piece band, was eventually scaled down into the 3 piece Heavenly Jukebox, morphed in the middle 70's into Pure Pork, modulated briefly into Uncle Bobby's Aerial Ballet and in the late 70's gradually evolved into
